Introduction
 

In this module you will learn three more utilities that are part of the Application Development Tools - a feature supported by the (OS/400) operating system. The utilities are:

  • Data File Utility (DFU), used for maintaining application data on a Physical file.
  • Query/400, used for reporting on data stored in physical files.
  • Screen Design Aid (SDA), used for creating display screens for interactive programs and for 'prompt' screens as well as creating menus.
