    Description

    Purchased from an Auction 1940's black lacquered hand painted jewelry box with musical Geisha girl that twirls and plays Sayonara when box is opened.  Exterior has beautiful inlaid mother of pearl. There are two mirrors on the inside of doors when opened that are hand painted beautifully.  Box does have chips on the black lacquer exterior and areas of bubbling on the side of box.  Both handles on the doors are broken but are still functional and one of the handles on a drawer is broken.  Measures approximately 11" wide by 9" tall.
