Vintage TILSO Japan Hand Painted Black Lacquer Dresser Jewelry Music Box

This is a vintage Japanese TILSO jewelry / music box.
I would estimate it dates circa 1950s.
Including the mirror, it measures 10 inches tall (25.4 cm). The mirror itself measures 5 3/4 inches tall and the base measures 4 1/4 inches tall (14.6 cm, 10.8 cm). It is 11 inches wide x 5 3/4 inches deep (27.9 cm x 14.6 cm).
I did some preliminary research and found a number of TILSO items. I was unable to find one like this though.
The piece looks like a miniature dresser with a triple mirror on top. When you open the middle drawer, it plays a song. I’m not familiar with it though.
The piece has wear to it. The mirror on the right side is foggy/worn. You can still see yourself fairly clearly between the three mirrors. The center mirror has a very small crack at the bottom on the left side.
There are some nicks and chips to the black finish. The ones that stand out are on the far left side towards the back, along the top of each of the drawers, and on the front of each of the legs. It looks like someone darkened the front of the leg on the right side. The entire piece could probably use a good cleaning, as it appears to have old dirt on it.
The music box works well.
It has its original paper label on the bottom and also is stamped MADE IN JAPAN.
Even given the wear, the overall piece has a beautiful look about it.
It weighs a little under 2 lbs. 7 oz. (1.096 kg).
