    Description

    Vintage Japanese Wooden Hidden Drawer Puzzle Box Inlaid Spring Catch
    The scene shows Mount Fuji in the background along with a small boat, a tree, and a building.
    Except for the bottom, the surfaces are inlaid with different colors and shapes of veneered wood.
    The box mechanism works simply by sliding the door to the left to reveal the catch.  You then push down to release it and the spring pushes out the drawer.  There are two plastic eggs that have a ball bearing in them to make noise.
    Box is complete with working hidden catch.
    Faded and cracked surface finish.
    Small pinhole in the top to the lower right.
    The 2 plastic eggs are brittle and slightly cracked, but intact.
