    Description

    Vintage Japanese wood puzzle trick box Mt. Fuji With Boat and Flower tree.  Beautiful hand painted with one scene of Mt Fuji in the background of a small village on the water with a boat. The other side is of a Flower Tree.
    This box is 5 3/4" wide x 3 3/4" x2 3/4 tall'
    It does open but there are no instructions and does require some effort.  There is no hidden drawer.  The colors are relatively bright considering the age.  There are some differences in the size of some of the gaps.  There are some scratches (not too noticeable unless you're looking).  Unsure of age - similar boxes date from the 1940's-1960's.  It was a fun puzzle to solve and a great little place to keep your secrets.
