Vintage Japanese Chinese Porcelain Trinket Box Birds Blue Chinoiserie

Description

Darling little trinket box featuring several birds in flight among the tree branches.
Could not find one similar to this and I believe it could be pre-WWII as the marking on the underside does not reference "Japan" in English.  It could be Chinese as well - I am not well versed in deciphering the difference between their alphabets.  Please let me know if you know otherwise.  Just beautiful.  See pics for measurements.
