    Description

    Vintage Japanese black lacquer jewelry box.   Abalone inlay around edges shows signs of wear,  pieces missing.  Handpainted and plays music. Unfamiliar with the song. Nice deep blue interior in very good shape.  Bought in San Francisco in Japantown, this item belonged to my mother.  Unsure of age. I would guess 1960's.  Has original key!
