Vintage Black Laquer Music Jewelry Box Japan Red Felt Ballerina and music box Not Working. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground.
The music box does not crank or play music. I’m sure it can be fixed all of the parts are there. See the last two photos. There is a marking on the music box mechanism which says japan i believe but it's hard to read.

The condition is used with wear.
The hinges have some rust on them. There is some scratches on the lacquer on the back of the box. The inside red velvet looks good. The mirror is a little foggy probably due to age. Please see pictures.
