ORNATE Vintage Japan Abalone Inlaid Black Lacquer Jewelry & Music Box *As Is

Description

This box consists of black lacquer with hand painted pagodas, sail boats, trees, and Mount Fuji.
The top has an inlay of abalone shell.
The inside mirror is a hand painted scene of a lady.
There are two top compartments that open with tassel handles.
The bottom has a large compartment with a small ring section.
It is lined in ribbed blue velvet.
The box is footed.
The music box works and plays nicely.
The bottom is is stamped Japan.

CONDITION:
There are chips around top edge around pretty much whole lid. Some lacquer peeling off. Please look over photos. Interior nice and mirror intact. Music works nicely. Bottom has wind up mechanism.
