Old Lacquered Box Japanese With 5 Trays Wood With Dragon And Landscape Scene

this is a beautiful wood set. the top looks like an asian symbol outlined in gold it might be the word for happiness. inside the symbol are landscapes. mountains, gold trees, a house, and even a man sitting. around the symbol is a gold dragon looking at the pearl, which is about the 12 o'clock spot. the sides are painted with a designs that alternate. the inside of the lid, and red trays are speckled with gold color. the condition of this item is very good tiny micro chips here and there on the side. nothing real bad. the top is very good no dings or chipping. the last thing to note is a line dent which you can see in the photos. no cracks in any of the wood items. the painting on the sides isn't as bright as the top, probably from years of picking it up at the sides. over all it is in very good condition. size 9.5 inches across, and 2.75 inches high. no marks, or labels of origin on this item.
Please keep in mind that most items I sell are old and vintage so so there may be some things like odors or light soiling that might be there I try to point out things that i notice but please ask questions before you purchase something if this is a concern to you an I will personally check on an item for you. I don't smoke or have any pets so there usually won't be those type of odors with the items i sell
