    Japanese Satsuma Covered Bowl Box
    Peacocks and Florals
    Up for bid is a lovely Japanese Satsuma Porcelain Cover Box featuring colorful peacocks, flowering trees and flowers with gold accents.  The side of the dish also has peacocks and floral designs and rust color panels with gold floral designs.   Inside the bowl you will find a small floral design as well.  The bottom of the bowl has a small floral design with "SATSUMA ARNART IMPORTS INC 1979" and a "Made in Japan" sticker.  There is a small chip on the bottom rim.  This lovely piece has never been used or displayed.
