Up for sale is a brand new Japanese puzzle box. This box is a 5 Sun 21 Step Zougan Tobizuru With Black
Kuroasa
. This box is brand new never opened only photographed while closed. The instructions will be included with the box.
On the top the Zougan marquetry was made by Mr.Haruo Uchiyama.
On the front of the box is the image of a goose flying through the sky. The goose has really nice detail and great shading giving it excellent detail. In the background behind the goose is a dark brown partial circle. It gives the impressing that the goose is flying through the night sky with the moon in the back ground.
The high quality Yosegi is used for this box with a black kuroasa star pattern on the sides and back of the box.
Because of this each box has a slightly different coloring and look from changes in the wood grain as each veneer is shaved from the wood block.. While stock remains I will list multiple boxes so that the buyer can review images and chose the box most appealing to them.
