Atlas of neonatal surgery .
The Atlas is fundamental illustrative manual dealing with technique of surgical interventions in newborns exclusively. The Atlas reflects the experience of the largest in the Soviet Union Neonatal Surgical Center in Leningrad (St. Petersburg), where more than 3300 operations have been performed in neonates since 1955 - 1983. While describing the operations, the data on clinical teratology during the neonatal period are presented, as well as the materials of the authors original investigations on surgical anatomy of newborns, normal and patological. The main contents of the atlas make the chapters elucidating the most often applied urgent operations in neonates concerning lesions and disorders in all organs and systems. Only special  topics, such as cardiosurgery and neurosurgery of neonates are not dealt with in the book.
The Atlas is intended for surgeons-neonatologists, pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, neonatologists. The atlas has 191 figures, 2 tables, 1 scheme.
