    Description

    Up for auction is an antique Asian round covered trinket box or hair receiver measuring 5 3/8" in diameter. The lid has an oriental woman in a garden with a bird flying above her and writing on the side of the lid. On the inside of the box is an oriental woman with a plate of food and writing beside her. The outside of the box has colorful long-tailed birds inflight. The trinket box is in excellent condition with vibrant colors. No chips, no design loss, but there is crazing under the glaze. A price sticker is on the underside of the lid, and a hallmark is on the bottom of the box. The brown number written on the inside edge of the lid and on the box is to help line up the two pieces.
